Ghent Folk Violin Project

Ghent Folk Violin Project, also known as GFVP, is making its return. The unique sound of four 'swinging' folk violins, accompanied by a rhythmic guitar, remains at the heart of their music, blending traditional and new compositions, now enriched by an additional decade of stage experience. Despite the diverse backgrounds of the four violinists, their playing is remarkably unified. The violins merge beautifully into a tight, almost vibrato-free sound. Add the fantastic support of the guitar, and the result is an incredibly diverse mix of folk, classical, world music, and jazz.
